WOWOWA Architect's plan for Yarra Pool

YARRA POOL (Community project)

Yarra Pools is a community-led proposal which seeks to transform an under-utilised section of the Yarra River's Northbank into a 'swimmable river'.

“What I like about this [design] is the wetlands, the soft connection with our waterway. It turns an under-loved part of the river into a magnet for people (and wildlife) and celebrates our connection with water!”

- Andrew Kelly, Yarra Riverkeeper

Architect: WOWOWA
